My wife and I chose Rickson Ridge for its proximity to Preservation Park, local amenities, and family nearby. It's a neighbourhood we're proud to call home, and we believe deeply in Guelph and its future.
Community outreach has been at the heart of my working life. Through helping start a learning centre for youth, supporting newcomers to settle in Canada, and various other outreach initiatives, I've seen how responsive services and sound local decisions make a meaningful difference in people's lives. That work taught me to listen carefully and find practical solutions.
Like many Ward 6 residents, my wife and I are concerned about the rising cost of living. Property taxes are up more than 30% in just four years, and it's simply unsustainable. City Hall must focus on excellent core services, better customer service, and responsible growth.
I'm running to be a practical, responsive voice for South Guelph, to hold City Hall accountable, and to ensure every tax dollar is spent wisely.
